Fair Prices Without Compromising on Quality
At J W Myers, we believe every family should be able to choose a fitting and lasting memorial without feeling pressured into spending more than they can comfortably afford.
We continually review our prices and work hard to remain competitive. However, we will never reduce the quality of our materials, workmanship or installation standards simply to offer the lowest headline price.
A memorial is intended to last for generations. The quality of the stone, lettering, artwork, foundations and fitting all matter, which is why every J W Myers memorial is created with care and installed to recognised industry standards.
Monthly Payment Options
We understand that purchasing a memorial can be an unexpected expense, particularly at an already difficult time.
To make the cost more manageable, we can arrange for families to pay monthly rather than paying the full amount at once. We will explain the payment arrangements clearly before an order is placed, allowing you to choose an option that suits your circumstances.
Please speak to a member of our team if you would like to discuss spreading the cost of a memorial.
Our Price Match Guarantee
We are confident that our memorials represent excellent value when the quality of the materials, craftsmanship and service is taken into account.
If you receive a lower written quotation from another reputable memorial mason for a genuinely comparable memorial, please show it to us. We will carefully compare the stone, dimensions, finish, lettering, artwork, foundations, installation, VAT and any other included services.
Where the quotation is genuinely like for like, we will do our best to match the price.
Not all memorial quotations include the same materials or level of service, so we will always explain any differences clearly and honestly. Our price match guarantee allows families to receive a competitive price without sacrificing the quality and reassurance provided by J W Myers.
Watches, Jewellery and Personal Possessions
Families dealing with an estate are sometimes left with watches, jewellery and other personal possessions they know very little about.
We offer a discreet identification, assessment and purchasing service for selected items. If we make an offer and you decide to accept it, the agreed purchase price can be used as credit towards any memorial work we undertake. We may be able to explain what an item is, whether it has financial or collectable value and, where appropriate, make a straightforward, no-obligation offer to purchase it.
This service is completely optional. No family will ever be encouraged to part with something they would prefer to keep, and there is never any pressure to sell.
Before purchasing an estate-owned item, we will ask for confirmation that the person instructing us is legally entitled to deal with it. This helps protect the estate, the family and everyone involved.
Any purchase made by J W Myers is subject to a 30-day cooling-off period, during which you may cancel the sale and have the item returned.
